Can you believe its November already? With Thanksgiving just three weeks away, it’s about time to figure out your plans for the big day. Usually, Thanksgiving revolves around food, fun, and family. 1. Terranea Resort, Rancho Palos Verdes, California

The first on our list, Terranea Resort is near and dear to our hearts. A short drive from Packs Project headquarters, Terranea is THE go-to resort in the LA area. The drive itself is scenic, winding through hills and cliffs overlooking the Pacific. Once you arrive, the party starts. 2. The Sagamore Resort, Adirondacks, New York

On the other side of the country, the Sagamore Resort reigns supreme. Located on the pristine Lake George for more than a century, the Sagamore is home to a golf course, tennis court, hiking trails, and a spa.

On Thanksgiving Eve, guests will enjoy an outdoor Family Movie Night accompanied by a campfire and s’mores. The next morning, watch the Macy’s Parade on a big screen at the Rec Center and enjoy a Thanksgiving buffet in the ballroom! The next day, the resort also kicks off Christmas festivities. 3. The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island, South Carolina

Possibly the most unique Thanksgiving destination, The Sanctuary is a secret island retreat. 4. Blackberry Farm, Walland, Tennessee

If you’re looking for a vacation that feels a little more country, head over to Blackberry Farm. But don’t be fooled! Despite the quaint name, Blackberry Farm is a luxury resort nestled into a 4,200 acre stretch of the Great Smoky Mountains. The Thanksgiving festivities there are intense, with a welcome reception, family fun, a Turkey Trot 5K, flag football, a holiday cocktail workshop, and Thanksgiving dinner specials, of course! Blackberry Farm is known for their remarkable cuisine, so save room for dessert! 

5. Castle Hill Inn, Newport, Rhode Island

The Castle Hill Inn is every bit as gorgeous as it sounds. Resting on 40 acres with wide-open views of the sea, the inn has a number of romantic room options and cottages overlooking the beach. It also sets the bar for Thanksgiving fare. First, Chef Lou Rossi will delight your palate with appetizers of locally-sourced clams, oysters, and shrimp. Then comes the main course; herb-roasted turkey with cranberry sauce and sage gravy. Naturally, you also have a large selection of holiday pies to pick from!
